He has lectured at over 200 seminars for DUI defense attorneys in 38 states, and is one of only 5 lawyers in California to be Board-certified in DUI defense by the NCDD/American Bar Association. The National College has recognized Mr. Taylor for his accomplishments by awarding him the “Lifetime Achievement Award” at Harvard Law School, and in 2018 he was selected by Southern California peer attorney nominations as a “Super Lawyer” — as he has been for 14 of the past 16 years.

Christopher Taylor, attorney-at-law. A partner and the Managing Attorney of the firm with 17 years of experience, Mr. Taylor’s son is a graduate of the University of Santa Clara and the University of San Diego Law School. He served in the San Diego City Prosecutor’s office and was subsequently awarded a position as extern to a Justice of the California Court of Appeals.
He was an Orange County Deputy Public Defender for 10 years, during which he was assigned to be Supervising Attorney for misdemeanor cases (including DUI), and has handled well over 5000 criminal cases from DUI to murder. The firm’s managing partner has been named by Coast Magazine to its annual “Orange County’s Top Attorneys” list and, in 2018, Mr. Taylor was selected by his fellow Southern California attorneys as a Rising Star for the 3rd consecutive year for “attaining a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement” in the DUI defense field.

Jeanne M. Normandeau, attorney-at-law. A University of San Diego and Gonzaga University Law School graduate, Ms. Normandeau has 29 years of prosecution and criminal defense experience and has handled well over 4000 DUI cases.

Lane Scherer, attorney-at-law. With 32 years of experience and having represented over 3500 DUI clients, Ms. Scherer is the senior attorney at The Law Offices of Taylor & Taylor. A graduate of St. Mary’s/Notre Dame University, she immediately turned to criminal law as an Orange County Public Defender.
In the course of her distinguished career defending the most serious felony cases, she was voted by her fellow lawyers as “Public Defender of the Year”. Lured away shortly thereafter by Mr. Taylor, Ms. Scherer has now been with The Law Offices of Taylor and Taylor for the past 19 years.
