Each of the drunk driving defense attorneys in the firm is backed by the reputations, expertise, advice and testimony of respected DUI experts formerly with various California and local law enforcement agencies, such as the California Highway Patrol, Department of Motor Vehicles and Los Angeles County Sheriff. These expert witnesses are available when needed to to defend our clients against criminal DUI charges in court or at DMV license suspension hearings.
Dewayne C. Beckner, forensic toxicologist. Consultant on permanent retainer to the firm, Mr. Beckner is a former supervisor for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Crime Lab responsible for all DUI alcohol testing, he has testified over 2500 times as a recognized expert in DUI and vehicular manslaughter cases.
Amber Drysdale, investigator and DUI law enforcement expert. A veteran of 20 years with the California Highway Patrol, Ms. Drysdale had over 750 DUI arrests and served as liaison officer between the CHP and District Attorney's office.
Terry Boess, Investigator and DUI law enforcement expert. A retired 30-year police traffic sergeant and accident investigation and reconstruction specialist who has supervised over 3000 DUI investigations and testified in court as an expert over 2500 times.
